While DC Studios have yet to cast their new Wonder Woman, Adria Arjona has been a popular choice to play Wonder Woman in Gunn"s DCU franchise. To show what she would look like as Wonder Woman, SmartSheep Art shared new DCU artwork of Arjona as the iconic Amazon hero. Check it out below:
The version of Wonder Woman that was used was based on the Absolute Wonder Woman from DC"s new Absolute universe, following the comic book company"s Absolute launch in 2024. When it comes to Arjona as Wonder Woman, the Andor star has actually shared with the world that she is not against that casting idea.
At a recent A Minecraft Movie premiere (via DC Latino America,) the actress was seen being asked by a fan about playing Wonder Woman in the DCU, to which she shrugged. However, Arjona quickly stressed that fans should start reaching out to Gunn about it.
