  • Snyder's new direction for the franchise may excite fans and bring a fresh perspective.

DCEU creator Zack Snyder is open to finishing his Justice League franchise in a different form after the official close of his original cinematic universe. 2021 marked the year when Zack Snyder's Justice League cast finally got to show the world the original cut of the filmmaker's team-up film. However, despite Warner Bros. not looking to continue Snyder's remaining DC plans, there has been a big push over the last few years for him to finish his Justice League saga.
In the latest issue of Empire Magazine, Snyder was asked if he would want to finish Justice League 2 and Justice League 3 in animation if he was given the option. While nothing is set in stone as of right now, Snyder shared the following about a possible continuation:

Yeah, absolutely. That’d be fun. That’d be cool.

It doesn't seem as if Snyder is actively pushing for more DC content right now, given how busy he is with his new Rebel Moon franchise, but the creator has always remained open about his interest in the DCEU story he never got to finish.
