Summary

  • Keanu Reeves could have a more comic-accurate look in Constantine 2, as shown in fan art, featuring the classic brown trench coat and blonde hair.
  • Constantine 2 should be part of James Gunn's DC Universe, benefiting from Reeves' popularity and allowing for interactions with other supernatural characters.
  • The success of The Batman and Joker universes suggests that Constantine 2 should be in the main DC Universe to avoid overshadowing the main franchise and potentially bring Justice League Dark to life.

Keanu Reeves gets a new look in Constantine 2 fan art, showing what he could look like if the DC sequel gives him a more comic-accurate costume. While a new DC continuity is on its way from James Gunn and Peter Safran, there will still be Elseworlds movies outside of the DC Universe. One of them is Constantine 2, with Reeves set to reprise the role of John Constantine after the 2005 movie.
While there haven't been any Constantine 2 updates in recent time, the world is still curious to learn what the sequel will actually be about and what type of story they are telling. In the meantime, JPH_Photoshop shared new Constantine 2 artwork recently, with a whole new look for the Hellblazer.
Despite the original Constantine movie having gained a cult following, one of the big criticisms was Reeves not only skipping the British accent, but also not having John's traditional comic book look. With the new Constantine 2 fan art, however, Reeves' version gets the classic brown trench coat while also having his hair dyed blonde, proving that he would look fantastic with the comics-accurate design.
