Screen Rant had the opportunity to be present at today's unveiling of an over seven-and-a-half-foot tall bronze Wonder Woman statue, erected in honor of DC's long-standing superheroine. DC, Visit Burbank, and Warner Bros. Discovery collaborated to craft the likeness of one of the world’s most popular superheroes and place her in front of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. This is not the first partnership between the companies, as they previously commemorated Batman with a statue that can be viewed at the AMC Walkway of Downtown Burbank.
Several city officials, Warner Bros. Discovery executives, and special guests presided over the event, sharing their thoughts on Wonder Woman's incredible DC legacy before officially sharing her statue with the crowd. Included among the distinguished attendees are the mayor of Burbank, Konstantine Anthony; the president of Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences, Pam Lifford; DC's Chief Creative Officer and Publisher, Jim Lee; and the director of Wonder Woman and its sequel, Patty Jenkins.
