The Shazam family is back in Shazam: Fury of the Gods, and they've all grown up since their last adventure. Billy Batson (Asher Angel) was first chosen as the champion of the Wizard Shazam (Djimon Honsou) in 2019's Shazam!, with his foster home friends all gaining the same powers in the movie's finale to defeat Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong). With Billy and his entire crew now all superheroes, they face some unexpected new challenges in their next adventure.
The first of DC's 2023 movies, Shazam: Fury of the Gods sees the Daughters of Atlas Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Kalypso (Lucy Liu) in a pursuit of a deadly power source, with Billy and the Shazam family uniting to stop them and getting some help from the wizard Shazam himself.
